Hi I’m Tiffany! I have been writing since before I could remember. I began formally writing articles during my junior year of college, after a lucky encounter with a very encouraging editor.

I write (and rant) about topics across many spectrums. I particularly like to examine how healthcare impacts the most disempowered populations. I do also write about the environment, social justice, food and beverage, politics, pop culture, and beauty!

I have B.A. in Public Health, Africana Studies and Natural Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. (I promise - I was not that kind of girl who triple majored). I have an M.H.S. in Environmental Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

I am currently an M.D. Candidate at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. On the long and rewarding pathway to one day fulfilling my dream of being a physician-journalist.

What do I write…

Aside from articles and essays, I write fiction and poetry. I can also craft research papers, newsletters and social media copy.

What I love doing…

Attempting my mom’s traditional Nigerian recipes, singing Victoria Monet’s Jaguar (underrated masterpiece), listening to podcasts by Black geniuses, and trying not to daydream about another passion I’d like to embark on.

What I am currently reading….

Elderhood by Dr. Louise Aaronson

Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes
